Happy New Year from Netties Expressions

Well, a new year has dawned again. We are now in 2018!

I thought this would be the perfect chance for me to share this poem with you. It's a short poem which I memorized when I was quite young. Even though it's short, there's a lot to think about and ponder in it.

Instead of choosing a word for the year, I've chosen this poem as my motto for the year. Life gets busy and for me especially, the next six months will be a little insane as I get full-time into tax season. Tax season consists of long hours, long days and lots of coffee. It's easy to get caught up in all the deadlines and forget that "I have only just a minute...only, sixty seconds in it. Forced upon me, can't refuse it. Didn't seek it, didn't choose it. But it's up to me to use it. I must suffer if I lose it. Give account if I abuse it. Just a tiny little minute, but eternity is in it."

Wishing all of you wisdom for the minutes which you have in each new day this year.
